Twiggy Snowflake Ornament—–a cinch to make! :)

That sweet Kari and Becky over at U Create asked if I’d join in on their Homemade Ornament series this year.  Yes please!!!  For some reason, I’m so into Christmas REALLY EARLY this year.  It all started with that tree I decorated……so I guess I can blame Michael’s. ;)   But I am going crazy that we still have another 2 weeks before Thanksgiving is here and we can officially pull out the rest of the decor.

Anyway, I’m kind of in love with how this little ornament turned out.

It’s kind of raw and earthy…….and goes well with the burlap, pine cones, and twiggy garland that I already used on my tree.

However, I couldn’t resist adding a little gold glitter spray.  Ahhhhhh….

And if it looks familiar…….well, it’s very similar to the large Twig and Branch Snowflake that I made last year.  Which, I’m excited to pull out and hang from my door again!

But this one is just itty bitty and fits perfectly on a tree.

See?  There’s definitely a use for those dried out twigs laying around outside.

Then, make a few for yourself…….and then a few more to pass around as small gifts of love this Christmas season!

Enjoy!-Ashley

I totally remembered the one for your front door and was happy I wasn’t going crazy when I saw the picture of it that you re-posted at the end of the post.

I love it! We’ll totally be making these for a kiddo activity. Thanks for sharing!
