FANCY UP your bathroom (EDITED: April Fool’s!!)

Sometimes I feel like the bathroom is a bit drab.
And considering how much time we spend in there showering, doing hair/makeup, (and other less exciting things)………I am always trying to think of ways to happy up the bathroom space.
So today, I’ve added some love to the toilet.
And I’m so glad I did.
The seat tassels add such a great spunk to the toilet.
And are removable in case they need to be washed.
And I’m kinda crazy about the big bow around the tank, giving my toilet a nice warm hug.

Ha. Come on…
You didn’t think I’d really tie tassels to my toilet, right? Gross.
(Well, I guess I actually did tie tassels to my toilet seat…….but, you know what I mean.)
Oh wait, did you forget that it was April 1st? April Fools’ day??
(Or maybe you don’t celebrate. If not, humor me.)
Remember last year? I fancied up my Easter Pots…….and many of you thought I had a loose screw.
Okay, maybe you all totally knew that was coming. You probably did. But I couldn’t resist.
And I chuckled the whole time I was attaching those dang tassels to my toilet. They just looked so odd.

very good one! I was freaked out for a minute there.
I knew it was coming. lol. I remember the last two years! But I still loved it, I was grinning as I was reading it and thinking, "I wonder how far she's going to go, telling everyone how awesomely cute this is…" LOL
I did get my husband this morning with an email to work that said, "OMG, you never guess who's finally getting married!" And then hinted around, he totally fell for it. hehehe.

I'd take a tassled toilette over some of the other jokes, which in my opinion are kind of mean.
I will be attending my kids' elementary school so I am sure I will hear the best jokes there with K-1st grade!

I totally got my husband a couple of years ago by giving him a positive pregnancy test that a friend of mine had taken the day before. Our third wasn't quite a year old and we were still trying to adjust to three kids- I think he about hyperventalated and passed out. I'll probably never be able to get him that good again!

I was totally fooled!!! My first thought was to take a picture of it on my phone and send it to a friend saying 'Can you believe THIS'! I really like your blog so I was pretty shocked to see something so, well, ugly. But I do think the bow is kinda cute! I got my husband today, twice. I sprinkled a little glitter on his bath towel, which makes for a great day on the construction job site. I also stitched closed his boxer shorts. Nothing too cruel, just silly and fun. Now I might have to go home and spruce up our toilets….

Got taken good at work this morning. One of my co-workers brought in a fabulously yummy looking chocolate log cake with a nice card…we couldn't wait to dig in…only to find it was really a wooden log covered in icing!!! ARGHHH we were SOOO disappointed because the chocolate frosting looked and smelled so great, not to mention the sprinkles!!

I didn't get to get anyone today :( I couldn't think of anything to do. (I ended up in the ER in the afternoon, nothing big, but I kept thinking, "they wouldn't pull a joke on me HERE, would they?? Like pull out the paddles and go 'clear!' and then 'JK! April fool!'?" Lol…)
I was reading this post and thinking, "…..wha-at?…" ;) I love April Fools Day and try to get my family every year. Even something silly like meatloaf and mashed potato "cupcakes."
I pulled a great trick at the office.
I work at an Episcopal church, and we are hosting five other parishes when the Bishop comes for Confirmation on Saturday.
We have two copiers, and I put "Use other copier!" on both of them. The Rector saw the first (hadn't even seen the second sign yet)…and got really, really concerned. His wife pointed out the other copier, and we both yelled "April Fools!" It was great — we got him good.
(Am I going to hell for fooling a priest?)

This is such a great idea. It's eco/green, too!
No longer will you have to buy that wasteful one-use toilet paper. Now, after you've done your business, you have the cloth wipes that are close at hand. You simple remove one and use it for your clean-up duties. then, throw it in the laundry for washing and reuse!
I award you three eco-friendly points for this idea.

i mixed melted chocolate and chopped peanuts, then let it cool and dropped it in the toilet with a little yellow food coloring, and i didn't forgot the little bit left on the seat! unfortunately, no one noticed it so I just ended up flusing the concoction.
