Girl’s Ruffled Rectangle Shirt
Can you tell I struggled with naming this shirt?
What in the world do I call it?
It’s kind of random.
Ruffled Rectangle works for now, right?
Want to try your own?
(Dimensions are for the one I made for my daughter who wears about a 4T.)
I used scrap knit for all of the pieces. The biggest piece is about 3.5 x 12 inches. The grey rectangle is 2.25 x 4 inches. And the white strips are 4.5 inches long and about 1 inch wide at one end and about 1/2 inch at the other.
Then I curved each of the corners to make it more rounded. (I actually took a little more off each end, to make each little flower bud more circular but that’s not shown here. So you can take more off like I did or make your accordion folds more even to create a square and not a rectangle like I did.)
And why not try this same technique for yourself?
Something different and fun.
