Autumn Wheat Basket

How about a quick and easy project to liven up your front porch or inside by your other autumn decor…

I just found a tall wicker basket. (And before buying one….look at the thrift store. Or, even your garage/attic. Who knows where you might find the perfect basket.)

And then I spray painted it dark brown. (Let it dry completely and spray with a clear coating/sealant. Allow to dry again.)

And then I tied some ribbon around the basket. And put some tall wheat stalks inside. Don’t have any wheat stocks laying around?!?! :) Check out your local craft store for any sort of tall replacement in the floral department. There are all sorts of funky/fallish/tall items to put in your basket. (I have no clue what any of them are called…..just browse around a while.)

And there, nice and autumn-ish.
