Ribbon Lamp

Here is a quick little project to add some color to a nursery…….or any room for that matter. It just depends on the fanciness or casual style of ribbon selected.

Decide on what colors you’d like to pull out of a room to create your new lamp. Actually, this is the perfect project to re-purpose an old lamp that has seen better days. Give that lamp a few more years of life and tie on some ribbon. The perfect little touch.

There really isn’t any detailed directions necessary. Just cut your ribbon to desired length and tie it around the lamp shade. Yes, all the way around. Tie in a double knot. (Heat seal the ends with a lighter…….if you’re sure that your type of ribbon isn’t flammable.)

You’ve got it.

(Keep in mind, you can keep all of the knots at the bottom of the shade or the top, or some other type of consistency. Just play around with it.)

Caution: Be careful while selecting ribbon to use, making sure that it is not flammable.
