Hi there! Crystal here, from Stitched by Crystal!  With three kids in the house I feel like I never have enough storage for all the toys, so I love sewing up fabric bins to help keep everything organized.  I am also a big fan of adorable pom-pom trim.  So today I am combining those two to create some really fun pom-pom trimmed fabric bins!

These pom-pom trimmed fabric bins are perfect for storing all sorts of small things to keep your space looking neat and tidy.  And the pom-pom trim adds a really fun touch.  I made them up in three different sizes for lots of different storage potential.

The pom-pom trimmed fabric bins are really simple to sew and don’t take a lot of fabric.  They would make a great quick afternoon project and would even be great for beginners.

I am sure you can think of all sorts of things to store in these! I already have one in my craft room, one in my daughter’s room, and one in my baby’s room, but I think I may need 3 or 4 more!

They would make great gifts too.  Fill one with diapers, a teddy bear, and a blanket for your next baby shower, or how about school supplies for your kid’s teacher in the fall!

**All seam allowances are 1/2″**

Choose which size bin you want to make and cut your fabric for your bin according to “Fabric Bins” column in the table above.  Then use the measurements “Bottom Corner Measurements” column for your size to cut out squares from both bottom corners on all of your fabric bin pieces.

Fuse your interfacing to the back of your lining pieces (for a sturdier bin, you can also fuse interfacing to the back of your main bin pieces).  Then with your fabrics right sides together, Sew along the sides and bottom of your main bin pieces leaving the bottom corners and the top unsewn.  Repeat with your lining pieces.
