DIY Pom Pom Monster Garland

Hello Make It and Love It readers! It is Emma from Crafting{E}! I have a great project for you today. Somehow it is already almost October and that means Halloween is just around the corner.

I love this time of year. The weather is cooling down and there are so many fun projects and colors around.

This project I am sharing today is an adorable DIY Pom Pom Monster Garland. It is the cutest decoration for the Halloween season and it is just plain fun to create. This garland is so easy to make and is sure to make any area fun and festive for Halloween.

Also, if you don’t have time to make an entire garland, you can just make individual pom-pom monsters using the same easy steps.

This project is perfect to make with kids! I made this garland with my little sisters and they had such a fun time!

MATERIALS:

DIRECTIONS:

  • First, make your pom poms. To do this, wrap one color of string around your pom-pom maker, according to the directions.

  • Save

  • Then cut the yarn according to your pom-pom maker’s directions. Remove the pom-pom and fluff.

  • Save

  • Next, paint your wooden beads with white acrylic paint. Allow them to dry.

  • Save

  • Place a black dot in the middle of each wooden bead so that it looks like an eyeball.

  • Save

  • Now, hot glue the wooden eyeballs onto the pom poms.

  • Save

  • Thread the pom poms onto a string to form a garland.
