Haha, I will be down to the wire sewing like a maniac next week! My Etsy shop has gone nuts all of a sudden, but before that happened, I planned on all these gifts to make… Good intentions, right? I love your ideas here. Maybe after things settle down, I can whip up some of those toy sacks and my 3 year old will learn to pick up after himself – I can dream :)

I just have to say a quick thank you to you for sharing your crafting/sewing ventures for us all to enjoy! A couple years ago, I randomly decided I would venture into sewing again. I hadn’t sewn since high school; even then I passed only because I attempted PJ shorts and not a pillow like everyone else. Those shorts were a tragic ending to a battle between me and the machine. Now, after popping in on your tutorials, I have been sewing for 2ish years. First thing I made? A shirted summer dress! I didn’t want to do a pillowcase or scarf for my first project and your beginner tips have me the. Infuse nice to try it! It was a success and I’ve been stitching ever since! Now I get patterns and even come up with my own! It’s phenomenal to think up something in your mind and make it happen!

I refer all of my friends who want to sew, but are intimidated by it, to your tips and tutorials!

    Thank you Ashley!!!
