Wow, what a great turnout for the Sewing/Crafting Supplies Giveaway I posted last week. Really, I wish I could hand deliver these…….wouldn’t that be fun? And then maybe we could meet up with a small group and make a thing or two? Who wants to arrange that?! ;)

Ashley, I’ve noticed the last few days that I see your current post link in my blog list, but if I come to your site (just to your home page) it’s stuck on the previous post (today it’s showing the pick your plum that you posted yesterday). If I click on the link (from my blog list) showing the title of your current post (today is this post), then it comes right here. It’s kinda strange that your home page isn’t showing what you just posted. Not too big of a deal, and it might just be happening to me–but wanted to let you know! Thanks for the giveaway, I absolutely love the blog and you’re one of 2 that I check back with regularly.

In case you don’t come back here to check (and since this note will be sent to your email directly, here’s what I told Lynette:
So, I’m not sure why it does this but every time I update the software for my site (once or twice a year), the cache needs to be reset. Eventually it will reset itself but for a week or two (maybe 3??), some will lag behind. What you’ll need to do is reset your cache (which is just your browser storing certain information about webpages you visit, so that they’ll load more quickly in the future). I need to figure out why this is such a pain on my site……but for the meantime, reset your cache. If you don’t know how to do this, google it. Include what type of browser you use (firefox, internet explorer, etc) and what kind of computer you use (PC or MAC). You should find specific instructions online.
Hope that helps! And I’m so sorry about that…..I’m going to start researching if there are ways to avoid this in the future.
