Why I don’t make VIDEO TUTORIALS…

I have been working with another company to produce a few projects. Originally, I was asked to record the tutorial with video instead of pictures. Like in my home. With our own little cheap-y camera.
But they said they would edit it and fancy it up a bit.
Luckily, they changed plans and will make the videos themselves.
Do you think I was the cause for their change of plans?
Hahaha.
You decide.

Apparently I’m not made for TV.
Maybe I’ll give it another try when that big bump (even bigger now!) has disappeared from my midsection.

Loved it! My brain is the same. When I get in front of people or a camera my mind goes blank and I can't get the word I'm thinking of, out!!! It's so frustrating. I totally understand, and the video just makes me love you more!

That was adorable. Man, they should use your video because you know that theirs is going to be too polished.
I say you have every right to blame it on the pregnant brain syndrome.. I am suffering through that as well… It's a good thing the little bambino's are so adorable when they finally get here that it makes all the stupid things we do and say worth the embarrassment!

LMAO!!! I promise I am laughing WITH you and not AT you! I had to do a video submission for a try at Ultimate Cake Off – it went SO HORRIBLY WRONG it makes your look like an oscar performance! It was so so so so so so so sooooooooo BAD! I didn't even want to send it off, but I just sucked it up and sent it anyway!

You are so adorable! Its just hard to "be on camera". I have been a behind the scenes part of our church's video department. One time I was on camera…NOT good! LOL We are all our own worst critics!

Oh, and forgot to add, I happen to LOVE your picture tutorials better anyway! First of all, they don't slow down my ancient computer like the videos do. And secondly, I like that I can really study and look at the detailed pictures better than I could a video. See, I'm a true blonde and it doesn't help that I've had boys, too!

Awesome! You should have kept going. I'm not for stuffy anyway. You could have giggled your way through it and we all would have been better for it. (BTW, that's how I feel when I'm trying to sew in general….except for not nearly that happy.)

This is too cute and sweet lol…Regardless it was still a good video for its purpose lol…ever try voiceover? its probably less pressure than having to be present and speak on the fly! :)
you can try to just do what you do, then go back and talk over :) that way the "honey come closers" wont be heard!! U did a great job with editing, so I really don't think you would be terrible :)
its also about comfort :) with time you will be better, think about it..ur are already great at make it and love it! :)

Were you just cutting it out of normal vinyl or did you buy a special type so it would stick to the clothing? Like everyone else, this made me happy. You seem so perfect in writing :-) I would totally watch a video tutorial with you, happy and normal and all that. Still, I love the step by step pictures and written guide, so don't stop that once you've got your acting skills ironed out!

I like your written tutorials!! They are very detailed (no need for video) and I can print them to have in my craft room. Especially if it’s a sewing project, it helps to have them next to my sewing machine.
