Virtual Costume Parade Idea

Someone mentioned in one of the costume tutorial comments that I should host a costume contest. I think that’s a great idea, but we’ll do it a little differently. How about anyone that would like to, sends me pictures of their homemade costume, on or off their child or themself. And this is not just for children’s costumes. If you’ve made one for yourself, a friend….whatever. Show off your costume. If there are enough interested people that would like to share their little creations……send me a pic and I’ll post them next Friday, October 30th. I won’t include full names or links to anyone’s blog. So it will be anonymous if you’re worried about privacy. (Maybe I’ll just write Ann from Washingtonor something.) But it would be so fun to see what everyone else is up to. Ooooh, I know some of you may be bashful but we all start somewhere…….so let’s see what you’ve made.

It’ll be fun. You can send a link to grandma’s and such to show that your little kiddo is in a little costume parade…..you know, like little elementary students do. How fun is that!

I will take pictures up until Oct. 29th (or early morning on the 30th) and will just display them as a little virtual costume parade from readers of Make It and Love It. Just in time for the holiday weekend. If you don’t celebrate Halloween……..you can still send me pictures, of any sort of costume you’ve created. Why not….? Ooooooh, I’m seriously anxious. (Don’t hold out on me!! Haha!)

I can’t wait to see what you’ve all made.

Thanks!

Interested participants send me your pictures to makeitandloveit@gmail.com
